Dubai – The advanced training course for the Arabian Gulf League referees gets underway at the association’s offices in A;l Khawaneej here on Saturday. The course is staged by and under the supervision of the world football governing body FIFA and hosted by the UAEFA for five days from Saturday through Thursday. The first three days will be provided for the referees and the final two days for the assessors.
The training course is one of the most important stages of the training courses according to Ebrahim Al Ammash, member of the referees committee of the UAEFA.
“I would like to thank the FIFA for organising the event and choosing the UAEFA and its referees and assessors for such an important international advanced training course. And I would like also to thank the international instructor Ismail Al Hafi and Dr. Hassan Khaldi for being here for the full days of the event,” Al Ammash said.
Al Ammash urged the referees and assessors to make the utmost benefit from gthe training course and the theoretical and practical program involved as it coincides with the beginning of the second part of the Arabian Gulf League.
