2nd Phase of Strategic Project for Development of Amateur Clubs
Dubai / Saturday, October 7th, 2017: Amateur Clubs Development Committee has commenced the second phase of its site visits which aiming at completing the strategic development project began last year. It included Al Madam FC, Melaiha FC and Dibba Al Hissin FC. The inspection includes infrastructure, pitches maintenance, dressing rooms, floodlights and medical rooms.
The inspection team includes Ahmed Al Mahbobi, Board Member and Committee Chairman; Khalifa Ahamed; Ali Ahmed and Omar Darweesh, Committee Members, in addition to Mohamed Ahmed Al Sayed, Medical Committee Secretary.
Al Mahbobi said “these visits come within a comprehensive program to support clubs and provide them with all means to develop technical and administrative cadres. The 1st phase was conducted last year and included RAK FC, Al Rims FC, Al Arabi FC, Al Jazira Al Hamra, Masafi, Masfout and Falaj Al Mala”.
He added “the support of clubs is certainly due to the kind gesture of His Highness Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and UAE FA Honorary President and his generous donation to support these clubs”.
In conclusion, he praised the instructions of UAE FA President, HE Marwan bin Ghalita on upgrading the infrastructure of these clubs and tackling all obstacles which might face in order to carry out their mission and enrich UAE football and national teams.
