Dubai/ Tuesday, October 10th, 2017: In its preparation for AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers to be staged in Kyrgyzstan from 31st October to 8 November 2017, UAE U-19 National Team ended its game versus Jordan in a 1 – 1 draw.
The rapid performance was dominated the valent game which was played at Dhiyab Awana pitch, as both team will take part in the qualifiers to secure a seat in AFC U-19 Championship 2018. Jordan player Muaaz Amori opened the scoring at minute 11, while the player Ali Saleh equalized for UAE at minute 30. Saleh movements disturbed Jordan defense line without scoring any another goal to end the first half in positive draw.
Jordan player Hamza Al Saifi was sent-off by the referee following aggressive offence at the beginning of the second half and enforced Jordan to complete the game with ten men. UAE showed advantages at some time and carried out many attacks, but did not succeed in scoring a goal.
The game was attended by UAE FA President Marwan bin Ghalita accompanied by his deputy Abdulla Al Jeneibi besides some members of Technical Committee and players’ parents.
Drulović played the game with a lineup included: Salem Khairi (goalkeeper), Saif Abdulrazaq, Sultan Saeed, Mohaned Ahmed, Khalil Ibrahim, Nahyan Adel, Omar Saeed, Khadim Al Blooshi, Ali Saleh, Ahmed Fouzi and Khalfan Hassan. He engaged many substitutes in the second half to grant them experience.
The coach expressed his comfort about the performance of players who created many goal-scoring opportunities. We will meet the same opponent tomorrow. He added.
