Dubai / Wednesday, November 8th, 2017: UAE FA President, Marwan Bin Ghalita has witnessed the training session conducted by UAE National (A) Team yesterday at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, in preparation for its friendlies versus Haiti and Uzbekistan.
The President met with the technical staff who congratulated him and Board Members on the qualification of UAE to AFC U-19 Championship 2018.
The team is continuing its trainings in Al Ain under supervision of its manager Zaccheroni and his assistants with the presence of all players, except Omar Abdulrahman who encountered an injury during training yesterday.
The Team Manager, Obaid Hbaita stressed the importance of the camp as it was the first one for the new coach Zaccheroni who would like to know the players through the training sessions and the two coming friendlies.
He added, “The camp environment will assist in backing the team to the right track in order to achieve the aspirations of UAE people and that was the reason that enforced the technical staff to meet the players and encourage them to exert utmost efforts, as the coming challenge will never be easy”.
In conclusion, he praised the calling up of the injured players in order to ascertain their recovery plans, and affirmed that the door is open to each player proves himself in local competitions. He invited all people to support UAE National Team as it will spare no effort to please its loyal fans.
